Tyler & Katie | Engagements

Katie & Tyler were soo FUN to photograph! These two love to laugh and have a good time. We met the night before our scheduled to session so we could get to know each other and discuss some things. Lets just say, Tyler and Katie both have personalities that can win you over in a heartbeat :). I loved hearing how they met and where their lives are currently taking them. Katie and Tyler met when Katie was a senior in high school and Tyler was in college at Texas Tech. When Tyler's in for a good time he wears his infamous sombrero hat. When the couple met, naturally Tyler was wearing his sombrero hat. They wanted to incorporate the sombrero in their session, and I think it added a really sweet element to the finished pictures. The two made my job as a photographer so easy, and they just went with whatever I threw at them. The love they have for each other is obvious and I know they will have a wonderful marriage. Katie & Tyler, you are a beautiful couple on the inside and out. I can't wait to photograph your wedding in October at the Legacy!

Bryce & Alyssa Wagner | The Wedding

Over a year ago I received an exciting facebook message from Alyssa Coats, who is now Mrs. Alyssa Wagner. She was the first bride to contact me about wedding photography, and what a blessing she has been in this journey of mine :). Alyssa and her husband, Bryce Wagner, blessed me with the opportunity to photograph their wedding. They hired me as their photographer, having never photographed a wedding on my own (only second shooting for Betsy Lackey). They have encouraged me and affirmed their faith in me and my work, pushing me, and uplifting me from the moment they decided to hire me. I would say that Alyssa has a spiritual gift of Exhortation that she freely uses to lift up Christ's people. I would say that is extremely rare that a client does shower their photographer with encouragement; however, this couple has been a gift from the Lord to help me develop into the photographer I am today. We all need something to believe in, and be believed in. This couples love for each other runs deep. They believe in each other and in their family and friends. Their laughter and Joy is contagious and their spirits have the ability to restore others around them. I am so thankful for Bryce & Alyssa and for the friendship they have allowed me to build with them through this process. Alyssa was a STUNNING bride, and Bryce was, is, and forever will be the man of her dreams :). May the Lord bless your marriage! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Wagner!!

Alyssa & Bryce had mason jar's with pictures of loved ones who have passed and couldn't be physically with them on their wedding day. It was a really beautiful way to honor and remember those they love. The above image is Alyssa holding the mason jar for her father, Kenneth Lee Coats.

The couple did a sneak peek before the ceremony :). It was so sweet to hear Bryce go on and on about how beautiful Alyssa is, and how excited/nervous he was to see her. Alyssa also voiced how she had never seen Bryce in a tux. (I think she wasn't sure what to do when she saw how handsome he looked.)

Alyssa hand made most of the details in her wedding and reception. She did such an incredible job & every little thing was absolutely perfect and reflected the couples personalities.

I had a wonderful time photographing your wedding, Bryce & Alyssa. Thank you for everything!
