Sam & Kim Billingsley | Wedding

In September of last year, I received a phone call from Kim to discuss photographing her wedding. We met up on September 27th for breakfast and it was both of our birthdays! I instantly fell in love with Kim. She is funny, sweet, full of life, giggly, and wise & man, you could tell she was in love with Sam. Every time she sees him or talks about him she glows. The love that they have for each other is so deep and their excitement to spend the rest of their lives together was so evident on their wedding day. The wedding was beautiful, and Kim radiated with such beauty from the inside out. I pray that the Lord blesses your marriage and will use your relationship to bless others and bring Glory to our King! :) Thank you for the sweet friendship we have formed, and for letting me be apart of your special day!

Kim and Sam's bridesmaids and groomsmen (their children) played a joke on Kim when the pastor asked for the rings. They all pulled out a fake ring until they finally "found" her wedding ring.

Kim's center diamond is in the shape of a heart & she had heart diamonds in her bouquet that tied it all together!

The Dearing Family

Friday afternoon the skies cleared and the snow began to melt. It was perfect timing for the photo shoot I had planned with the Dearing Family. Crew, Lindsey's baby boy turned 2 in December, and in November, Lindsey became Lindsey Dearing and the Dearing Family was formed! I have been taking pictures of Crew since he was about 6 months old, and it has been so fun to see him grow and develop into a precious and curious little boy. We had a great time playing ball in his room, and making a trip to the Overton for some pictures, and the Arrogant Texas for a sucker and old fashioned ice cream. Crew has the best laugh and his sweet smile and excitement is contagious. Lindsey- you better watch out because all the girls are going to be google eyes over Crew ;). Needless to say, he is adorable. Enjoy pictures of this sweet family & precious Crew!

Dru & Andrew Ammons | Wedding

Another incredible wedding with the wonderful Betsy Lackey! I love, lovee, LOVE second shooting for Betsy's weddings. It may be one of my favorite things. Betsy and I always have the best talks on wedding days that I get to tag along with her :). Not only do I love the time I get to spend with Betsy, but I love seeing the relationships she has made with her clients up until "the day."  I have recently booked some of my own, and I am excited to take what I've learned, develop sweet relationships with my clients and fall even more in love with photographing weddings. Maybe I can even bribe Betsy to shoot one with me ;). Anyways, awhile back I helped Betsy photograph the Ammons wedding. It was classic, modern, & chic, with a splash of yellow which never fails to add happiness to the day. I loved everything that Dru picked out for her day. She has an eye for things, and she has style. The wedding took place in Idalou and the reception was held at the Watson Building here in Lubbock. Everything about the day was perfect, and I am so blessed to have joined them on their day.

Lindsey & Riley Dearing | Wedding

When Lindsey told me she was getting married, I was ecstatic! Lindsey and my cousin Catherine have been friends for years. Through their friendship, I was blessed to meet Lindsey and take pictures of her baby boy, Crew as he's grown up. Lindsey goes through life with such grace, no matter what her circumstances are. She is strong, beautiful, wise, and an incredible mom. She hired Betsy Lackey to be her photographer and asked if I could second shoot. I was thrilled! Her wedding took place in horseshoe bay and it was absolutely stunning. It was a crisp fall day, with golden light and the details for her wedding were classic and so Lindsey. Lindsey looked breathtaking on her special day, and the love that her and Riley share was beautiful to see. I know that they will stand strong, and remain firm in their faith through the trials life brings. I pray many blessings over your sweet marriage! I am so excited for you both!
